Sending a prospect to a DrinkACT landing page first helps you identify the “interested” people. Then once they fill out the form on the Drink ACT landing page you can direct that prospect to more information. Let’s face it, no matter how amazing our products are, or how great our compensation plan is, most people are not going to buy our products or join our DrinkACT business the first time we talk to them.     They’ll learn the nuances of inviting later. But to start, their invitations work anyway for two reasons:

    1) You can’t say the wrong thing to the right person.

    2) The wrong thing sounds like the right thing, when it’s said with passion, intensity and urgency.

    If you haven’t read it yet, read Mach II with Your Hair on Fire by Richard Brooke. If you have read it, read it again.

    Show me passion intensity and urgency, and I can show you how to build a huge team, create true wealth, and help lots of people. I can teach you how to meet people, work a candidate list, follow up and invite. I can show you how to use tools for credibility and duplicate. But I can’t teach you passion, intensity and urgency.

    Passion is non-negotiable. If you don’t have it, keep your day job until you discover it.

    Intensity is non-negotiable. If you want to be a tourist, go to Yellowstone.

    Urgency is non-negotiable. If you’re too cool to show people you’re all in, stay home and watch CSI.

  • One of my favorite quotes of all time is “If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it”

    It is critically important to keep track of all of the actions that you take when building your DrinkACT business so you can properly manage your DrinkACT business.

    If you measure it, you can manage it! If you can manage it, you can grow it!!

    Here are the 5 questions I recommend that you ask yourself every week to help you manage and grow your DrinkACT business…

    1. How many people did I CONNECT with this week?

    2. How many people did I share my story with this week?

    3. How many people did I share the product with this week?

    4. How many people did I share the information with this week?

    5. How many people did I get an informed answer from this week?

    An informed answer is either and A, B, or C…

    A- I am interested in the business
    B- I am only interested in the product
    C- I am not interested in either

    The answer to all 5 questions above should be a minimum of 7.

    If you are connecting with 1 new person every day, sharing your story, sharing the product and sharing the information with them and getting an informed answer from each of them then failure is impossible with DrinkACT.

    DrinkACT is simply a numbers game.

    If you take 365 people this year through the 5 exposures (connect, share your story, share the product, share the information, get an informed answer) and you have 90% tell you that they are a “C” you are still left with 36 new personally enrolled members this year!

    And you only actually need 2!

    Wake up every morning and tell yourself “I WILL FIND 1 NEW PERSON TO CONNECT WITH TODAY!”

    Then hold yourself accountable and don’t go to bed until you have received at least 1 informed answer each and every day.

  • 10 Reasons Why People Fail in Network Marketing

    Here are main reasons why people fail in network marketing:

    1. Select the wrong company - company goes out of business. Before you invest your time and money, make sure you have selected a company that is financially strong, well managed, has all the necessary infrastructure to handle momentum growth, and has a long-term plan that is beneficial to the distributors.

    2. Select the wrong upline - no training or support. Make sure you are working with an upline group that has been successful, has the time to work with you personally, has proven training and marketing programs in place that you can use.

    3. No purpose for being in business - if the “why?” is strong enough, the “how” is not as important.

    4. No written goals - you must determine your goals, write them on a piece of paper, develop a plan of action, schedule daily activities that will take you to your goals.

    5. Focused on making money - money is important, but your focus should be on helping others succeed. Zig Ziglar once said that “you can have everything you want, if you just help enough other people get what they want.” Go out to make friends and help them become successful and you will also be successful.

    6. Treat their business like a hobby - you must give your business consistent hours every day. If you treat it like a hobby (do things whenever you have some spare time), you will get paid like a hobby. If you treat it like a business (plan your work and work your plan daily), you will get paid like a BIG business!

    7. Don’t contact enough people - your job is to be a messenger. Take the message about your company, products, and opportunity out to as many people as is humanly possible each day. Don’t worry about those who are not interested. You are just sifting for those who are. If you were to contact just one new person every day (six days a week), you would make 312 new contacts per year. If you just sponsored 10% of those, you would have 31 new distributors each year. What if they just duplicated what you did. WOW!

    8. Blame – they blame their upline, the company, the compensation plan, and the products for their failure. This is YOUR business and YOUR responsibility. If you have chosen the right company and upline, then your success or failure falls squarely on your shoulders.

    9. Impatience – most people get too impatient and quit with success just around the corner. This is a business and it takes time to build. If you were building a traditional business, it would take 3 to 5 years before you were actually making any money. In network marketing, you can do this in a matter of months. Be patient and never quit.

    10. Takes NO personally - people are going to tell you NO. It’s not the right time in their life for what you are offering. They are not rejecting you, but rather the opportunity or products. Don’t take it personally, just stay in touch with the person, so when the time is right, you will be there.

  • Mark Yarnell, minister in a small town in Texas, was headed for bankruptcy and just about to lose his car and home.  He looked for a way out and discovered network marketing.  Luckily, he had a wise sponsor.

    The sponsor gave Mark 2 things:

    1. “THE PROMISE” – “This business can set you free financially in one to three years..

    2. “THE PRICE” – “To succeed, you will have to face and conquer 4 major enemies.”

    Mark said, “It’s a deal!!!!!!!”

    Mark began by inviting 200 friends over to his house to watch a video.

    80 said “No, not interested”

    - Mark had encountered ENEMY #1: Rejection.

    He thought, “No problem.  My sponsor warned me about that.  I’ve got 120 people still coming over.  ” Guess what?

    - He had just encountered ENEMY #2: Deception.

    Mark thought, “No problem.   My sponsor warned me about that.  I’ve got 70 people who watched the tape.  ” Guess what?  57 said “Not Interested”.

    - He had just encountered ENEMY #3: Apathy.

    Undaunted, Mark thought, “No problem.  13 people signed up.  ” Guess what?  12 of them dropped out of the business shortly thereafter.

    - He had just encountered ENEMY #4: Attrition.

    Attrition had left Mark with just one serious associate.  But to this day, that single distributor earns Mark over $50,000 per MONTH!

    Mark Yarnell’s story is NOT Unique!

    You may have heard of Bill Britt, one of the most successful distributors in Amway.  Some years ago, 20/20 did a feature story on Amway.  They spent 19 minutes interviewing whiners and complainers – several distributors who had failed and showed the garages full of products they couldn’t sell.

    During the last minute of the show, Mr. Britt was interviewed in front of his palatial home.  He was asked, “Mr. Britt, this business has obviously worked for you.  What’s your secret?”

    He replied, “There is no secret.”

    I simply showed the plan to 1200 people.

    900 said, ‘No’

    and only 300 signed up.

    Out of those 300, only 85 did anything at all.

    Out of those 85 only 35 were serious,

    and out of those 35, 11 made me a millionaire!!!

    Like Mark Yarnell, Bill worked through the numbers.

    Jason Boreyko, former co-founder of New Vision, told this story recently.  When he was a distributor in Matol, he signed up 50 people.  He heard a lot of “No’s” on the way to those 50.

    Jason took one man, who he knew would be terrific in the business to lunch, told him about the business and the man said “No.”

    Jason took the man to lunch again the next month and told him the updates.  Once again the man said, “No.”

    Jason sent him some more information and took him to lunch again the next month.  And again the man said, “No.”

    That went on for six months.

    The seventh month, something had changed for the man, and he said, “Yes.”

    That man made Jason over one million dollars.  Jason also worked through the numbers.

    According to Richard Poe in Wave Three while starting Amway, Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel, America’s eleventh richest people, recruited 500 people.

    495 dropped out.

    The five that didn’t quit built Amway.

    All $7 billion of Amway’s business was built under those 5 people.

    Jay and Rich had to work through the numbers. There are many similar stories.

    Jeff, the top money earner in Mannatech, signed up 27 people his first month.

    One might think that he is especially talented at sponsoring.  Actually, Jeff will be the first to tell you that he is not talented at all.

    In fact, he feels that he did very poorly.  To recruit those 27, Jeff talked to 2000 people that first month.

    And of the 27, the only one who did anything significant with the business was Ray Gebauer, who has more than half of Mannatech in his downline.

    Jeff’s word to you is that the numbers never lie.  Pick your goal and then get into massive action.  If you talk to enough people, you will make it!

    Here’s the lesson: Your success is directly related to the degree to which you are willing to work to find others like yourself who are committed to succeed.  Mark Yarnell’s odds were 1 out of 50.  (Jeff’s were really 1 out of 2000.)

    Would you be willing to go through 200 people to find the 1 who will make you $50,000 a month? Or go through 200 people to become a millionaire?

    Or hear uncounted “No’s” to sign up 50 people to find a million dollar person?  I hope you will.  It’s easier when you know the odds up front.

    But here’s the catch: You have your own set of odds and you won’t know what they are until AFTER YOU’VE SUCCEEDED.  So if you’ve gone through 50 or 100 people and you haven’t found 1 serious person yet, you can either give up and assume the business doesn’t work or recognize that you are working through your own numbers.

    Are you willing to find out what your own set of odds is?

    That means that you must pay the price for freedom.  Remember that the numbers will NEVER fail you.

    Despite where you are in your skill level, your success is assured if you talk to enough people.  And as your skill improves, so will your odds.

    There is no such thing as luck in this industry.  Winning big is a matter of being willing to pay the price. 

    Are you willing to pay the price to become a millionaire?

    Your future is in your hands!

    The choices which you make today will determine the course of your entire future.
