Leadership Law #2 – The Law of Influence
The True Measure of Leadership is Influence. Nothing more, Nothing less.
Why would people want to follow YOU?
“He who thinks he leads, but has no followers, is only taking a walk.”
The 5 levels of Leadership
1. Position - People only follow you because you are above them.
2. Permission – People begin to follow you because they want to.
3. Production – People are following you because you turned them into a Leader and now they have people following them!
4. People Development – The Leaders you have raised are now raising their own Leaders.
5. Personhood – People follow you because who you are (you have created a legacy!!)
What Level of Leadership are you at???
If you can’t influence people
then they will not follow you
and if people will not follow you
then you are not a leader.
